True North Book About Leadership Review

Destiny brings Zhenbei's book: I found your real leadership in my life and I want to bring it in the life of other people. More specifically, those who think that they were not born with the characteristic of being a leader, or those who do not find their passion or purpose in their life, their "true north". A book written by Bill George and coauthor Peter Sims edits a series of interviews including 125 managers of Howard Schulz and Novartis Dawai from Starbucks. Respondents led the reader through discussions on their failures, successes, obstacles, personal tragedies, and victories through their journey to become the leader of the day.

True leadership is advocated by management expert Bill George in his book "Real Leadership" published in 2003 and further developed in this "Real North" book. George explains real leadership as a style of leadership that is consistent with its personality and leaders' core values, namely honesty, ethics, practice. Both servant leadership and true leadership are common concepts of positive leadership with much in common. My 2007 book, True North, shows people how they can grow themselves into true leaders. True leadership is based on my leadership experience, but true North is based on a field study on face-to-face interviews with 125 leaders. With a transcript of 3,000 pages, it is still the most detailed investigation of the leader so far based on the first person's interview. Most of our research groups used reviews and questionnaires from third parties after reviewing literature including more than 1,000 leader studies. Saying important things and how they have developed will give us more insight than previous studies. This is a fact, as the story of the leader's life and the embarrassment they encounter were found to be very important. I also learned how people grow into true leaders.
