Trojan War and The Odysseus by Homer

During the Trojan War over a decade, the character Odysseus was introduced to those who might read it. This special man is drawn as the hero, the hero of this story. In Homer's Odyssey, magnificent heroes embody the ideals and beliefs of the civilization they live in. This hero is the hero of the epic, the hero of technology. Like everyone else, these magnificent heroes and heroines will have their own drawbacks. Odyssey also had his own flaws and blocked him during his Odyssey adventure.

"Odyssey" is an epic written by an ancient Greek poet Homer. This is a classic story focusing on his journey to Ithaca after the conclusion of the Trojan War with the hero of Odysseus. In Odyssey, Homer draws Odysseus as a balanced individual. During the Homer period, the Greeks believed that balanced people had to have three important characteristics: smart minds, healthy bodies, and good abilities. Odysseus embodies three important features of Greek's vision for balanced individuals, including witty people, body health, speaking ability.

In Odyssey, Homer explained about Odysseus' journey from the Trojan horse war. Prior to the Trojan War, Odysseus was King of Ithaca, a Greek island known for its isolated steep terrain. When Odysseus left Ithaca to fight the Greeks in the war, he left the newborn, Telemacos and his wife Penelope. Most of the surviving Greek soldiers returned soon after the battle ended, but Odysseus returned to Ithaca ten years after the end of the Trojan horse war. During the long absence of Odysseus, a unmarried man began to doubt that Odysseus died on Troy or on his way home. Under the pretext of purging Penelope, these unmarried men lived in the house of Odysseus and were called "seekers" who competed for her marriage. Penelope simply did not reject the follower, but made a plan to delay courtship. After she completes the weaving funeral hood she says she chooses her husband to give her a gift to Raltes who is Odysseus' father.
