After winning the competition in 1962, Trinity Church Henry Hobson Richardson designed his most famous building, the Trinity Church of Copley Square. James Ogman called Trinity "the first important culture in American history". "This building represents both Boston's thought and Puritan relationship, and American creativity as building power." Richardson was born in 1838 in the suburbs of New Orleans.
The first Baptist church's dark sidewalks and vineyards of vineyards offer quiet rest in a noisy town. The building is a luxurious Romanesque style fortress similar to the nearby Trinity Church, completed by the same architect. However, the Baptist church is the first church in Richardson in the city. The spectacular sign of the tower was designed by Federic Auguste Bartholdi who also designed the Statue of Liberty. The Christian Science Church looks more like an Italian Renaissance than the Back Bay. Originally designed by Mary Baker Eddie, the original design took the style of a more traditional New England church and was later extended to the gorgeous landmark of today in 1906. The final finish, pillars and Corinth style pillars were completed in the 70's
Trinity church is one of the oldest churches in America. The original building was burned down in 1776, but the church is still beautiful and gorgeous Gothic architecture. The church is famous for the colony cemetery. There will be many famous Americans, including Alexander Hamilton, one of the founder of the United States here.
