Several new trends are affecting the lives of the organizations. Among these new trends, five will be reviewed: globalization, diversity, flexibility, flattening and networking. These five new trends have created tensions to the organization's leaders and employees experiencing the wave of organizational change. These tensions bring both opportunities and threats These tensions will lead to organization failure at the end of the change process if these tensions are not properly managed. Table 1 shows these five trends and the specific tension they produce.
All of these five trends and the tensions they generate can create more systematic or systematic complexity for leaders and employees within the organization.
