Treatment of Women in Jack Kerouac’s On The Road

A woman who treats a woman on the street of Jack Kerouac on the street does not seem to provide the same depth that the author gives to men. The treatment of female characters in words and actions by Sal and Dean seems to indicate that women can only be virgins / mothers or prostitutes. In the whole novel, there are many examples showing that women and their feelings and behaviors are rash, openly degenerate. But Thrall (Kerouyak) does not necessarily agree with this narrow woman's identity, there is evidence to support this claim.
