Treatment of Jews Under the Spanish Islamic Empire

In 610 AD, Muhammad first established a religion called Muslim. It quickly spread to the Middle East, North Africa, the Mediterranean, and Spain. After the death of Muhammad, the new Muslim leader took over the Islamic empire. They are called caliphs and rule the Muslim community instead of Muhammad. When Islam arrived in Spain, the Jews living there were actively influenced. The Muslim world Jews were living a peaceful and comfortable life under the caliph, but once the caliph had disappeared the Jewish golden age was over.

When the Jews and Muslims were expelled from Spain in 1492, most Jews chose to move to Islamic lands, especially in the Ottoman Empire. The Iberian Jews are very numerous, well educated and prosperous. As the Iberian Jewish culture often replaces the old Jewish community, Spanish became a common name for Jews living in Islamic lands. The skills of the Ottoman Empire's trade and manufacturing capitals and the capital of these immigrants have offered considerable wealth for the expansion of the Ottoman Empire. Under the Ottoman Empire, the Jewish and Christian communities achieved the highest autonomy. Through the Xiaomi system, each community is directly responsible to Sudan. The most famous incident of invasion into public life occurred in the Ottoman Empire of Jannisary Corps. Christian youths were hired by the Ottoman army, trained as soldiers, converted to Muslims, and senior positions of the Ottoman government.

Muslim of the Osterman Empire. The Ottoman Empire is an Islamic government that started in Anatolia early in the 14th century. Prior to the emergence of the empire, Islam was founded in Anatolia, but during the 14th and 16 th centuries religion expanded with the conquest of the Balkans and the central Hungarian Ottoman Empire. This does not mean that the unity of the population is Muslim. In many parts of the Ottoman Empire, especially the Balkans, Christians make up the majority of the population, even Muslims are majority groups, there are usually non-residents other than Muslims. Unlike some ruler of Western Europe, the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire did not try to strengthen religious unity. But Islam is a dominant religion, the political structure of the empire reflects this fact. On the Balkans, several Christian groups served as military support personnel in the 16th century.
