The world of Neil Gaiman 's novel "American Gods" is a place where God exists through human faith, but when such beliefs die, they will gradually disappear. All the gods of human myths and religions can exist but only if there are people who truly adore it. In a word on Wednesday, one of the gods of this story says, "This is a sort of human emotion I have, we rely on faith, pray and depend on love" (Gaiman 225). Among the American gods, Gaiman emphasizes the status of the United States as a place without a unique religious culture.

As African Americans and men it is easy to fall into a trap to believe that this religion is "white religion" or "Arab religion". If you dig deeper deeper, you will notice that each religion has a connection with the place we have been, and we shared it more closely with them. As long as it has not been tampered with, religion can not truly be Arab, European, or anything other than Asian. Africa is the birthplace of the world where spirituality is promoted and religion is the daughter of spiritual womb in Africa.
