Tragedy In Genesis

The tragedy of Genesis tends to see tragedy from a miserable and disastrous point of view. Every night we are hearing about murder, assassination, and bombing called Atragedies. @ Trgedy is not necessarily an event affecting the entire community. Conversely, an event that teaches a specific course to a specific person or group of people can be regarded as a tragedy. The Greek tragedy concentrates on the devastating nature of the tragedy, but the Bible Genesis provides a different tragedy paradigm to the reader.

This definition allows double understanding of tragedy. Unlike Kaufman, who is very special in his definition, the heritage of the United States enables a broad perspective of tragedy.
