Traditional Wives verses Stay at Home Wives

Since the 1970s when I was a child, the times have changed dramatically. My mother is my family's wife in the first decade of my life. She cooks and cleanses to see my brother and I go to school everyday. She did not go to work, but she and many women thought that the mother at home is a full-time job. My father often hands her mother 's money to utility fees and I remember she rubbed the kitchen floor. By the end of the day, my mother was worried about daytime chores, so I was usually too tired to meet my father's needs.

My father is Baptist pastor, my mother is a traditional full time mother. Okay, a bit. At the time, few women worked outside the house, and the Minister's wife rarely did. However, mothers are entrepreneurs, and many people call themselves uncontrollable. She has never silenced about being a wife of the committee, being at home, warmth of having children, and raising their stereotypes. Therefore, she just succeeded in these two aspects. She gave birth to my two brothers and my three children. She raised us.

Women's work and freedom obviously depend on social position in society. There are mainly three types of women in ancient Greece. I have a wife's lesson. My wife had to stay home to weave things. They are considered to be respected women. They are not allowed to go anywhere except religious ceremonies. That's right. They are poor women who are prostitutes (widows, slaves, girls, parents are forsaken by parents when they are babies). There is also hetaerae class. The educational level of the hetaerae class far exceeds that of the wife class. Only men pay high fees, they are male companions. They met men at parties and festivals. As mentioned above, my wife class is working at home, taking care of our children and taking care of small work at home. The prostitute's female class is male sexual partner. These women can act freely around society, basically they have no rules around them.
