Biography Jessica Kequam Weber is the 4th year to obtain a doctorate. Rhetoric and composition students at Louisiana State University. Her academic interests include media literacy and media activities, women and health care speech, literacy research, women's representation in popular media and alternative media, political thought, visual rhetoric, social kinetic theory, green rhetoric, Eco culture, consumerism are included. She likes community organizations, cooking, public places, community media, and cycling. Comment This is three issues I will use for students to give media literacy, especially women and media general considerations. I am using these tasks at university lessons, but I have adapted to junior high school students and high school students in the past. All three tasks are based on the idea that in order to understand, criticize or change the media, it is necessary to understand the language, media ownership, knowledge and access to media.
Rhetoric is persuasive, effective communication, and the art of results. Thus, in rhetorical research, by investigating persuasive discussions on influential speech, posting on the Internet, court opinion, media statements, documents, and social participation, public publicity and social expression Consider. The course focuses on politics, law, environment, society, activists, identity politics and cultural discussions, while providing a solid foundation for modern communication theory, practice and criticism.
