WWE SmackDown (aka WWE Friday Night SmackDown) was a WWE pro-wrestling television program that was abolished in 2011, formerly known as an eponymous brand. WWE SmackDown was broadcast on 162 different arenas from 162 different arenas in seven countries (USA, Canada, UK, Iraq, 2006, 2007), several days shot down since the first episode. In May 2014, WWE and NBCUniversal signed a new agreement, Raw and SmackDown will continue to use the USA Network and Syfy on NBC owned networks. In January 2016, SmackDown will change the network to the US network. The contract with NBCUniversal will expire in 2019. On November 17, 2016, WWE and Sky Deutschland signed a multi-year contract to deliver WWE's premium pay-per-view campaign and started broadcasting Raw and SmackDown Live at SKY Sports in April 2017. On 10th April 2017, WWE and DAZN announced that Raw and SmackDown will broadcast live reviews for the first time in Japan. On April 27, 2017, WWE and TV 5 announced a new contract to play the 1 hour of the SmackDown version. On May 12, 2017, WWE and Saran Media announced a multi-year contract between TV Raw and SmackDown. On July 10, 2017, WWE and AB 1 extended the partnership to 18 years and signed a new multi-year broadcasting WWE program contract.
