In addition to being an interesting play, Oedipus Rex is also an incredibly deep and insightful literary work. Sophocles pushed the drama to another level and did a nice job in that the reader can do it thoroughly. Sophocles enhances the story using literary techniques such as satire and intonation. Throughout the script, tones and satire are constant and are often used to develop characters. From the beginning we have a lot of understanding of Edeps, mainly from previous knowledge with previous drama. As everyone knows, he is a hero and a leader of many people.

The Sophocles play "Oedipus the King" (also known as Oedipus Dynasty) contains many examples of dramatic satire and sarcasm of the situation. The biggest example of a dramatic satire is this brief speech by Oedipus who cursed his father's murderer. This is a dramatic sarcastic since Oedipus does not know who his father parent is; in fact, he is the murderer of his father. Therefore, Oedipus actually cursed himself. The audience knew his parents, but Edipus did not know it unfortunately. This is one of the earliest examples of tragic satire.

The irony of Oedipus Oedipus of Greek playwright Sophocles is undoubtedly one of the greatest examples of dramatic satire. In many cases, the audience knows more than the hero, and Sophocles uses irony to point out that Oedipus is also a Laius murderer. - Edps' blind satire king has only one definition of "seeing". I can see the table, I can see your point of view, I can see the real you, I can not see what you are saying. Sometimes blind people can "see" more than what they see. In horror movies and terrorist incidents people may cover their eyes and choose not to see the truth. As a human being, we are often rooted in the material world, become ignorant and can not see the most obvious truth.
