To What Extent is Knowledge Provisional

Knowledge has a preliminary definition that it is a reasonable truth. Due to its dynamic nature, knowledge needs to be reviewed over time and corrected. You may think that we got objective facts from different times, but these facts will be reinterpreted for evidence, findings or technical improvements and will stimulate new knowledge. This raises a range of issues where knowledge is temporary. The emergence of new evidence provides us a good reason to abandon old knowledge.

Let's use the term genealogy for combination of knowledge and local memory. This allows you to build historical knowledge about the struggle and use it for today's tactics. This will be a temporary definition of the family tree I tried to compile with you in the past few years. Therefore, you can know that this type of research activity can be called genealogy, you know that there is nothing to do with the conflict between the abstract unity of the theory and the specific diversity of facts. It has nothing to do with the disqualification of that speculative dimension under the name of certain science, and the severity of perfect knowledge. Therefore, through empiricalism, genealogy projects can not be deployed, nor are they going through terms in the ordinary positivism sense.

This paper argues that action research finds rationale in a practical position that knowledge is transient and occurs through transactions between agents and the environment. Behavioral studies have found additional methodological grounds in a practical view that knowledge is created in uncertainty situations, requiring consideration and analysis habits, and through an open consensus. However, practical behavioral research is also different: it pay particular attention to consensus and focus on problem solving educational implications through Dewey's work. In this article I will explain the value of the label "practical" and the strengths and weaknesses of a practical approach.
