To Thine Own Self Be True: “Dimensions” by Alice Munro

The story begins with Doree (now passing by Furong), and the sharp point waitress of the Blue Spruce Inn uses three buses to an unnamed "facility". She is nervous and attempts to solve her nerve by choosing symbols ("coffee" - "fare", "enemy", "off", "

This story can be traced back 7 years ago when Doree is 16 years old. And she met Lloyd when she visited relatives at the hospital. Lloyd and Dory's mothers are "old-fashioned hippies" that remember the horrible people they know, the drugs they are driving, something of a kind. Dolly's mother died of embolism, she moves with Lloyd. She was pregnant before her 17th birthday. They moved to this country and Sasha was born.

Returning to the present, I met Mrs Sons, she is not a hippy old. Monro delicately explains Mrs Sands' costume -

"She is kind, kind, inhumane, calm, consumes all strikes, and all insults are out of those clothes."

Mrs. Sands and Mrs. Dolly talk about Dory and Lloyd's visit - his appearance, his attitude

Munro returns to the family's story. Barashara was born when Sasha was 1 1/2. When Barbara Ann was two years old, Dimitri appeared. Dimitri is colic, and Laresch encourages her to continue breastfeeding, not supplements. Dolly began adding, but she did not tell Lloyd. She told him that the milk was dry. Lloyd

As the story developed, the tension between Lloyd and Dory escalated. He called her friend Maggie "Lezzie" and asked to know what they were talking about. He tried to convince Dolly Magee to try to separate them.

As they prove the prophecy, Lloyd's words are like paranoia. This laid the foundation for the climax of the story.

"Understanding yourself is my own evil.This is the secret of my relief.I know that it is the worst.This may be worse than the worst situation of others, but it is actually I do not need to think about it. I am worried. I'm sorry, I am calm. "
