My name is Tom Robinson. I live in the suburb of Maycomb with my wife Helen and my children. I am working at a farm of Mr. Link Deas. Even if I was a black man and he was impaired, he hired me; he was a very kind person. I go through the house of Ewell everyday on my way to work. They are a white family living in a garbage dump. Sometimes I will go through and they will help some of their big girl Mayella, their garden work. Her brothers and sisters do not seem to help, so I want to help her.
I have experienced the troubles of my child's life, so I think that "killing a mocking bird" is a story about childhood. The novel includes racial discrimination (Tom Robinson), prejudice (Tom, Dover's Raymond, Mrs.) and courage (Tom, Boy Scouts, Dill). This novel shows that growth is a hard work. At Meicom people are enthusiastic, but they show that children can change everything.
Many people may resemble a mockery bird with good, harmless and perfect nature. I think Tom Robinson can be like a bird that mocks in this novel. As Tom Robinson was sent to trial as raping a white woman (Mayella), he is like a mockery bird. As the trial continues, it becomes increasingly evident that he is innocent and does not harm Mayella. Tom Robinson showed all the functions of birds without mocks. But even though it is very clear, killing Mockingbird is a crime and people kill them. This situation is similar to Tom Robinson's situation, but killing Tom Robinson and other African Americans is not a sin. In any case, he will be guilty of his trial, he is. He was shot after the trial. Tom Robinson is absolutely worthless.
Killing a mockery bird expresses Maycomb's racist attitude, especially in Tom Robinson (his attorney is Atticus Finch) and Mayella Eule's lawsuit. To the reader, the trial was clearly obvious, and the black Tom Robinson charged with rape charges was innocent, but the jury found him guilty. It also determined that Mayella was indeed beaten by her father, the evidence suggests that the situation is indirect, but it is very obvious. This lawsuit also revealed to the reader the horrible personality and obvious rich discrimination in the small town of Meikom. It can not be denied that this event is the core conspiracy of the novel.
