Tim Burton

Tim Burton, Timothy William Burton (born August 25, 1958, Burbank, California, USA) is an American director known for its unique and eccentric style and often draws eerie elements.

Barton was interested in painting and film production since childhood, studied at the California Academy of Arts and then worked as an animator at Disney Production. After producing a series of short films, including a homage to horror movies to Frankenweenie (1984), Burton directed his first feature film, Pee-Wee adventure in 1985. The box office succeeded and the family movie centered on the boy who was searching for his stolen bicycle (played by Paul Reuben). In the dark comedy Beetlejuice (1988), Burton became a non-traditional movie producer. He used a big budget Batman (1989) and the sequel's "Batman Returns" (1992) to switch to more mainstream fares. Both films are the mainstay. Burton is also in charge of the concept and general design of Henry Selick's director Nightmare Before Christmas (1993).

Edward Scissorhands (1990) marked the first collaboration between Burton and the actor. After that, they made a movie like Edwood (1994). This is a biography movie about filmmakers who are known as the worst supervisor in history. In 2001, Burton reworked the science fiction "Planet of the Apes" (1968). After overseeing Big Fish (2003), he founded Corpse Bride (2005). This was nominated for Oscar for Best Picture.
