Masonry is not a new wall system. Rebar and grout have been used in brick for more than 100 years. The high compressive strength of brick masonry strengthens the formation of economical and high strength walls compared to other reinforced masonry systems.

From the viewpoint of cost comparison, we compare installation cost of various reinforced masonry (RBM) system and concrete masonry unit (CMU) system. Comparing 6 inch TTW bricks with 8 inch half height CMUs, Mason and Tender will install about 350 CMUs in a day. At the same time, 365 Brick will be installed. The structural brick unit is also an excellent choice for privacy walls, entrance walls and sound barrier. Again, why should we put two or three bricks when only one brick is needed?
