Throughout the last century people's views on life changed. Psychologists, neurologists, and educators now realize that the body and mind are becoming more complex than ever. There are several innovative techniques to observe the intelligence an individual has or can do. Psychologist Howard Gardner created multiple intelligence theory (MI). Gardner (1999) expresses intelligence as "ability to solve problems in specific cultural environments or communities or fashion products".
In 1983, Howard Gardner's Psychological Framework: Multiple Intelligence Theory introduced a traditional kind of intelligence like IQ that could not fully explain the intelligence capabilities. He is a group of intellectuals, including interpersonal intelligence (ability to understand others' intentions, motivations, desires) and internal intelligence (ability to understand myself, understand their feelings, understand fears and motives) I introduced the concept. However, this term is widely known as published in Goleman's book "Emotional Intelligence - Why is More Important than IQ" (1995)? The best-selling part of this book is that the term can be attributed to its popularity. Goleman is following other general publications on similar topics that have enhanced the use of this term. So far, the EI test is not a substitute for the IQ test as a standard measure of intelligence.
In 1983, Howard Gardner introduced his theory of multiple intelligence in his book "Mind Framework". Through his work as a professor and psychologist, Gardner believes intelligence is not a single attribute that can measure and give a number. In his book, he pointed out that the IQ test measures linguistic, logical mathematics and some special intelligence. However, Mr. Gardner believes that there are many other kinds of intelligence which are important factors in human ability. Gardner says, "Human intellectual abilities must include a set of problem-solving skills - individuals solve real problems and difficulties they face, and when effective at the right time It also allows you to create - it must also include the possibility to discover or manufacture the problem - thus it will lay the foundation for acquiring new knowledge "
Multiple Intelligence Multiple Intelligence is a guide for people to understand how to learn. Because everyone has their own ideas, of course people learn in different ways. But people learn their style when young. For example, "Multi-intelligence theory believes that individuals are born with congenital abilities to succeed in a particular field and that education should help to identify and develop student's innate abilities" ( Difference between multi intelligence and learning)
