Thorpe Park is a theme park located between Chertsey and Staines-upon-Thames of Surrey. It is operated and owned by Merlin Entertainments. After the Thorpe Park Manor was removed in the 1930 's, the site became a gravel hole. The Thorpe Park Resort built in the 1970s was partially submerged in the gravel hole and was the theme of park water. This basically allows guests to see the park as an island, which is the origin of the slogan "There is no other island" in the park. It was officially released by Lord Ruie Mount Batten in 1979. It has grown to be one of the major theme parks in the UK and currently has a hotel
After withdrawing Thorpe Park Manor in the 1930s, the site was originally a gravel pit owned by Ready Mixed Concrete Limited. In the late 1970's, they decided to overwhelm some sites and create educational theme parks. The park was opened as a small attraction, and in 1996 the first large-scale installation of RMC "X: \ No Way Out" was slowly built. In 1998, the Tussauds group bought parks (they also owned the nearby Chessington Adventure World). From the beginning, the park began to open major attractions such as 2000 tsunami, 2002 colossus, 2003 Nemesis Inferno, 2006 stealth.
Thorpe Shark Hotel opened in 2014, Thorpe Park decided to intimidate at night. Before the beginning of the experience, you are directed to the other side of the hotel, and the actor reads some awful stories for you. The Thorpe Shark Hotel is a hotel with rooms in metallic containers. The entrance is largely made up of metal sharks and seems to climb up from the lake Shark structure is made of scrap metal including old signs of various vehicles and theme park attractions. The hotel is connected to the entrance of the park with the dome by sidewalk. Opened in 2014, the hotel has been renovated the temporary hotel "The Crash Pad" opened in 2013.
Thorpe Park plans to construct hotels, health spa and conference center for many years. Although the complex was originally planned to be opened in 2016, since the Thorpe Shark Hotel opened in 2014, the complex will not open for several years as Thorpe Shark Hotel will stay in the park for 10 years. Before the hotel was built, the land was considered a potential place for roller coasters. In the 2018 season, the park hinted at the charm of "world first". On December 1, 2017, a plan for possible redesign of X was submitted to the Runnymede City Council. This includes the use of observation deck, high fence and theme replacement entrance. According to rumors, this re-themeized X theme is AMC's "Walking Dead". Beginning in 2018, the new rides confirmed these rumors: "Walking dead: horseback riding" replaced X in the park.
