The book I decided to read and analyze at Thomas Jefferson was Jefferson The Virginian by Dumas Malone. This book is the first volume written in 1948. I have always been interested in Thomas Jefferson and his life, so I chose this book. I thought this book was very useful for Jefferson. It helped to write his growth between the Declaration of Independence and his President, including years of service at Virginia's western settlement, Williams and Mary University in Williamsburg, and Virginia University in Burgundy.
