People experience universities in various ways. Some people spent the worst time in their lives, others do not want to leave. On the other hand, I have both. The first semester of my college freshman seems to be a nightmare. There are countless anxiety disorders and several phones to go home, I thought I'd never end in today's place. I am proud that I can count down the number of days I have already moved, as I entered the university for the first year. I like college.
While adapting to the lifestyle of the university, I sat quietly and shocked the reality. I made many life courses difficult, I felt a lot of things. After I experienced some of these things myself or after seeing sitting and seeing others experiencing these things, this is what I learned at the university first graders:
Usually your first night friends will not be your best friend all the year.
Frankly speaking, he may not remember you if you walked over him the next day.
11. You must know who you live with in the entire dormitory during your tenancy.
12. Always And I always wear shoes in the bathroom (please trust me, there are some people this year)
Please choose a course that is fun for you. Please do not select a course that you know you can not pass
14. I will use the party on Thursday and Saturday. You do not want to miss a good party with your good friends.
17. Always go to the class with a snack ... you do not want to be a nasty student
20. Sociable is a good thing, but please do not become sociable too much. Remember your true purpose at college
I know that there are many things to sink there, but I know that these are the rules that my university year and many other college students obey. The next three years will be explosive, and we can not arrive earlier in the second grade. Let's start the countdown from that day!
In the summer of my first year in college, I learned how to quit my job in the seafood market and build a social market for students. I do not know anything about building web applications, but I believe in self learning so I learn from Google and video blogs online. Two weeks later, I had a Tuurtle prototype that allows students to safely sell something locally. It's a huge system, and I am getting more and more familiar with the LAMP stack and the Twilio API. I work at least 20 hours a day throughout the day. At the end of the summer, I started it at school and threw it into my resume.
This term is my first semester as a university student. As the first thing, this is probably the longest semester I have ever studied. I learned the expectations of writing, and I will have to respond to it at the university for the next four years. My high school teacher is usually very harsh because my high school was respected in English, but is the college writing still raising the standard? For me. In addition, at high school, it takes a few weeks to pick a topic, create a paper, outline the paper, write a paper, and modify the paper. At college, the time limit is not so loose. I need to learn to manage my time and improve my productivity through free time ... See more
