Theories Surrounding Hatshepsut

Queen Hatshepsut who ruled Egypt in the 18th century was one of the few female Pharaohs. Despite her numerous achievements, her domination is the most memorable as she is a woman. Her unique story caused controversy among scholars, leading to many contradictory views. A small amount of life in Hatshepsut was recorded, which made it impossible for us to see the more intimate details of her life. The historian has her broad view, but one thing is certain: after 100 years of foreign domination, her rule has given Egypt the period of peace and prosperity.

Ms Hatshepsut was born in Egypt in 1508 BC and is called Thebes. At the age of 12, her father died and she was destined to become a queen (Jordan, 2007). She is married according to the traditional demands of trying to keep his older brother, Thutmose II, and the royal family of Egyptian culture. Queen Hatshepsut and King Thutmose II have only one daughter, Neferure. The costume of ancient Egyptian women is very conservative and the costume in the movie, especially the dress is not reflected.

Queen Hatshepsut's lifetime schedule shows that she was born as the daughter of King Totomose 1 and one of his queen. When the king died, the throne inherited his son. In order to comply with traditional Egyptian standards, the new king married his eldest daughter. This means that he is married to his sister, Hatshepsut, who has a girl named Neferure. Thutmose II passed away at a relatively young age, and his son became a pharaoh after the death of another wife. As he was a child, Queen Hatshepsut succeeded on his behalf because he could not rule Egypt, a great country. Hatshepsut controlled as a Regent for 6 years. In 1473 BC Queen Hatshepsut decided to declare himself Pharaoh by making enough rulings on behalf of children.

The only male heir is a little boy, Queen Hatshepsut, Totmose III. When he was young he was crowned as the new Pharaoh of Egypt, but Hatshepsut was appointed as regent. She will run this country for him. Queen Hatshepsut is a powerful and intellectual leader. Several people in the government are very loyal to her. After several years of retirement, she decided to become a pharaoh. She is Pharaoh himself. She is in charge of this country. One way that Heart Sypst holds power is to build many buildings and monuments in Egypt. She also has many of her own statues in these places. Thus, people continue to regard her as their leader and pharaoh. One of her most famous buildings is her dead body in Djeser-Djeseru. This temple is considered one of the wonderful achievements of Egyptian architecture.
