The influence that Theodor Mommsen (1817-1903) gave to several generations of scholars is incredibly profound. Throughout his life Mommsen has published more than 1,500 works, many of which are considered to be cornerstones of all research fields. Most of Mommsen's work was replaced by later scholars, but Mommsen laid the foundation of all modern scholars in Roman history and Roman law. Among the great scholars of the 19th century, Momson was probably the most influential person. Mommsen was born to Lutheran Church, the son of Pastor Schleswig.

The desire for Momsen to become a citizen of a unified German nation participated in a national sovereign program outside the United States, which had a major adverse effect on the example in the United States. It is an infringement of the Haitian Dominican people over the years in the Dominican Republic. Human rights was a good bureaucratic tactic, became a document and a stateless immigrant, so it was deported soon. One of the ideological architects of this project is Dominican intellectual Manuel Núñez. This work, which took place in Dominica in 1990, is due to Mommsen and (ready) Numa Fustel de Coulanges defending the importance of the border.
