The theme of the African creative story is the same as all cultures, but the African culture needs to deal with the question "How do you get here?" In order to respond to this imminent question, people invented a story reflecting values, ethics, norms of each society. When people examine these stories, they can gain insight about how these cultures will look. "The African Universe" tells us how the world was created by a powerful person called Bumba who crushes the sun, moon, star and the first nine creatures.
