Theme of Punishment in Poetry

Seamus Heany, Rita Dove, and Sherman Alexie wrote three poems to support punishment from various angles of life. The author writes in third person, and in different styles of each story to help the reader get a better visual effect. The purpose of the author is to show a feeling of punishment. Whatever you inadvertently or naturally do, anyone should be punished at least once in your life. All these poems concern punishment, but each author gives the reader its meaning to that word in his situation.
