When Joe Starks came out, Jenny found a way to escape. After seeking a glass of water the first thing Joe did was to name herself. The naming of Houston's Stark is ironical for several reasons. The word Stark is often used as a barren synonym, and Joe Stark and Janny no longer have any children. Heston hinted at the sexual problem between the two. Because their separate beds and Jenny finally "castrated" Joe orally in the shop.

Zola Neill Hurston 's Men See God Zola Neil Hirston tells stories about how their eyes see God and how young women Janny finds her place and identity in his life. Deborah Clarke believes that slavery in this novel is forced to lose women and to lose identity and definition. Many critics like Clark focus on ignoring male plight and journey in the novel, focusing on developing self identity from a women's point of view, see this work.

"This novel was written by Zora Neale Hurston and was published early in the harlem of the Harlem Renaissance in 1937. I think this movie does not rationalize the novel per se completely, As I think, I think personally.

Hurston 's seraphs were intense with Suwanee, and their eyes saw some scenes in God. Seraph's suwanee sees God in their eyes.
