The WTO

Better or better, the World Trade Organization was founded on May 19, 1948, a general agreement on tariffs and trade or GATT. This is not an international organization but an intergovernmental treaty. This provides a framework of international trade. In April 1994, GATT was expanded in the Uruguay Round multilateral trade negotiations, and the World Trade Organization or the World Trade Organization was established. The purpose and final purpose of establishing the World Trade Organization are under consideration.

In the previous chapter, I explained what WTO is and how it works. This section will explain the activities of the World Trade Organization and the activities of the WTO. According to the company's website, "The main purpose of the WTO is to make the flow of trade smooth, free, fair and predictable." It is to establish international organizations to deal with international trade, high limit, high tariffs. It is decreasing. This also applies to GATT, but the agreement has reached the limit of achieving that goal. Currently, at WTO, government obligations are being implemented. Furthermore, considering that the world economy is expanding, the domestic policies of Member States are now more developed. This was not the case before the WTO was introduced.

Over the past two decades, WTO member countries have agreed to significantly update the WTO rules manual to improve the flow of world trade. Members of the World Trade Organization have expanded to member countries, accounting for over 98% of international trade. In 2015, the World Trade Organization celebrated an important milestone after receiving the 500th trade dispute settlement.

Participating in the WTO means acquiring an international trade framework essential to the economic prosperity of the globalized economy. However, this also means to comply with WTO rules based on all or nothing. In this regard, the main difference between the WTO and its predecessor, GATT, is the binding nature of the WTO framework. GATT allows Member States to be exempt from provisions inconsistent with national law, allowing states to choose from numerous agreements and commitments.

This section describes the WTO. The WTO represents the World Trade Organization. The World Trade Organization was established as an alternative to GATT. The Bretton Woods Agreement in 1944 was aimed at solving the economic consequences of rebuilding Europe after the Second World War. It will also work to ensure that no major global recession will occur. The IMF and the World Bank were established to achieve this goal. However, organizations that manage trade between countries are also necessary. Although GATT was originally established, the WTO was founded in 1995 to achieve this success. As it states on its website (www.wto.org), the World Trade Organization (WTO) is the only international organization dealing with international trade regulations among nations.
