The World of Printing and the Importance of Reading

Centuries later, this was the biggest revolution in reading history. It is a printing press invented by Gutenberg in the 15th century. This means that anyone in the printed book can acquire knowledge. After the sixth century, our old and used paper books are still the leaders of the reading industry, and Gutenberg did a good job! The first "e-book reader" released in the 2000s was a revolution in the publishing industry. People could download thousands of e-books without leaving home. Unfortunately, e-books are designed as simple and unimportant copies of books and are sold at nearly the same price as French prints. Many readers are still wondering that they do not see the added value of e-books. Today in France, e-books account for only 7% of the market. Can we do better?

There are many reasons that readers who always stick to traditional printed books may want to try out e-books. E-books are more versatile than printed books and have many advantages that make reading easier and more enjoyable. While many elderly people dislike new technologies for e-book readers, they offer more advantages than traditional printed books. Choosing to read books is not important. It is important that you keep reading!
