A few years ago, according to a survey of Wall Street Journal / ABC News nearly 50% of people working in the US have reported that they will choose new jobs if opportunities exist (Warshaw 1998). Why are so many people dissatisfied with their work? The answer is complex and multifaceted. We live in an era when work became "more personalized than ever - when you do something - deeper level of personal satisfaction than before" (ibid, online, np). Given the growing awareness that work is more than just a job, many people are reviewing their careers.
coLab promotes the connection between people and provides them with the best working environment. This means connecting people in all backgrounds and disciplines. This means that artists work with accountants, developers and veterinarians, lawyers and gardeners. This means looking outside from the island we claim and getting a new perspective on things. We wake up every morning and adjust our accidental beauty when abnormalities occur. If the two streets intersect, or if the two roads intersect, you will have an intersection. Use the intersection as the direction (that is, "Let's meet at the 5th on the main"). There is a bench and a bicycle storage place at the intersection, and a casual meeting place can be made. CoLab itself is at the corner of the intersection. We believe that the physical joint space itself is the intersection of business and idea. The session will start when the path crosses.
Our brains work through connections and prefer to combine ideas and concepts to form new ideas. Unfortunately, modern life leads to mechanical thinking, which means that we are dominated by customs, automatic associations, and reactions. Since modern society makes our lives very predictable, we do not have to regularly solve complicated problems. Instead, our idea uses patterns to simplify the decision making process when providing all sorts of information. For example, identify the door, locate the handle, and then open the door. Your brain finds matching objects and objects looking for actions that match that particular pattern. In addition to mechanical thinking, there is no effort to solve the problem.
Sometimes it's easy to connect and you may feel clicks and the world are right. At other times, it is necessary to nurture and nurture contact. We think that this idea has been made romantic, and linking the work to it implies nothing to do with the beginning. At first glance love is a more digestible story, it is not a story that two people are learning, sacrificing and fighting to build a world among each other. I soon felt connected with Safia Elhillo. Her words hit the soul, as if her words fought sharply as a fight. It is easy to listen / to read her poem. The hard part is to write poetry as a reminder of poetry. She will not waste a single word. My words danced in the wind and hit the ground. Her story sinks in your heart. Whether I am still coming or going, we are still trying to understand. Her experience is her own. My experience is myself. But you can bind them through poetry. It is irrelevant if it is a continuous process.
