The Wife of Bath by Geoffery Chaucer

Bath's wife Bath, or Allison's wife is a secular woman. She not only traveled the world sexually, but also experienced this world. Alison himself explains this at the beginning of her story. "There is no book on this subject, from my own experience, I got the full right to talk about the sorrow of marriage, my husband got married ..." (Chaucer 174). Alison's prelude prolog is to crush the idea that men are dominating women.

It is presented to modern readers as an early story of feminism and shows how female characters acquire power in an oppressive patriarchal society. A simple plot of women's empowerment is the essence of anti-feminism. Sometimes this is openly proposed ... women's attention to Bath's wife.
