This survey is the first in Iran, which carried out a quick evaluation method in three wetlands of Anzari, Buzar, Miyankare. In this research preparation of the Caspian quick evaluation method (CRAM) is completed. This method is derived from the Ohio Rapid Evaluation Method (ORAM), passes some changes in some indicators, and removes some subindexes. These changes are related to the characteristics of the southern coastal wetlands of the Caspian Sea. Later, CRAM conducted wetland assessment of the three wetlands.
Rapid assessment methods are used for scoring, ranking, ranking or classifying various functions of wetlands or wetlands, ecosystem services, species, communities, interference levels and / or ecological health. This is usually due to wetland function being lost, such as by giving priority to the protection (avoidance) of specific wetlands, or repairing degraded wetlands elsewhere, or providing additional protection to existing wetlands It is done to determine the range to be changed. It also applies rapid assessment methods to help monitor or predict the impact of these behaviors on various wetland features and the services they provide before and after wetland repair and modification.
Wetlands International is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and restoring wetlands around the world, wetlands are at the forefront as development pressures increase. The group reported that 'wetlands are at risk of abuse as they are rich in fish, fuel and water' and worked to educate the public and policy makers on the health of local wetlands. And advocate a better policy. "When wetlands are considered unproductive or marginal, wetlands become targets for drainage and conversion."
Wetlands are increasingly being seen as a determinant of all strategies to protect and protect water resources. In the hydrological cycle, it is very important for wetlands to accumulate large amounts of water during heavy rains and gradually drain during drought. As a result, they provide natural protection against floods, landslides and erosion. Wetlands are naturally preserved basins and can be used as a treatment facility to remove special pollutants dissolved from water. It should also be remembered that wetlands are an important element of aquatic ecosystem biodiversity. Therefore, these environments must be prioritized not only in rural and wild areas but also in urban areas.
