The Welfare Problem

The problem of welfare is everywhere in the poor. They are at the corner, local Seven Eleven and the square. Sometimes I get tired of them and even get angry with them when they hate my money. I asked myself, "Is the best way to deal with the poor to save money from your pocket?" Unless anyone gives money to them, these people will not stand here to claim money. The truth is that many poor need money. Because they know that money can be earned in this way.

After PRWORA, welfare faces as many problems as many years ago. There is no general agreement on how to deal with welfare issues because there is no general agreement on whether the welfare recipient is a victim or a criminal. Many people want to say that the problem of welfare has been solved, and now we can put it in our head. But, if critics are right about the development of welfare, within five years from then we will experience unprecedented homelessness, crime and hunger. There are few people who can get ruthless hungry children in their heads. So where is the balance between Central America and Welfare America? Are we responsible for working Americans to regain their money as much as possible, or are they responsible for protecting unemployed people from poverty? The government should take some measures to solve the social welfare policy. The first is to change the paradigm of social welfare development. Suharto (2009a) believes that the social welfare system should respond to the rapid and complicated change of social problems. Therefore, the application of social welfare policies should take into account the role of civil society in the principles of human rights, democratization, and the development and implementation of social policy programs.
