The Watergate Scandal

About 1947, Richard Nixon became Vice President of Dwight Eisenhower, but before that Nixon never touched a scandal that led to an infamous checkout speech. Richard Nixon served as vice president for about 8 years and eventually won the election in the 1960 election and lost the election of John F. Kennedy. Richard Nixon finally recovered from his political defeat of John F. Kennedy. In the 1968 election, Richard Nixon was once again nominated for a Republican candidate.

With the Watergate scandal, thieves were discovered by hotel guards and arrested by local police on the first day of the scandal.
