The Vikings and Norse Mythology

Vikings are divided into three categories; the best classes have economic strength, the middle classes are farmers, free, you can carry weapons and join the conference. Women play an important role in the Viking community, and when men leave the house they are responsible for cooking and cleaning. Viking is a wealthy, excellent poet, is good at arts and crafts, is an expert on forging.

In the past few decades, the legends of Norse mythology and the culture of Viking are increasingly widespread all over the world. Many people were inspired in the second half of the 20th century and reference to Norse mythology became more common in literature and movies, such as the "Lord of the Rings", "13th Warrior", "Vikings" series, and so on. Culture has many games that are expanding to the game industry, one of them is one of my favorite games, called "The Sky" role playing game, obviously Scandinavian style. One of my favorite cartoons was called Valhalla in 1986 and I have good memories for me since I was a child. This is a cartoon that I can recommend absolutely, it is very interesting for children and adults.

Viking myths, more generally Nordic myths are immersed in pagan beliefs and have sophisticated cosmology. They believe that the universe was created as nine worlds, all of them are connected by Northern European cosmology tree Yggdrasil. Myths are continuing occurring in the myth of the creation of the country, claiming that the world originated from the body of the giant. The myth of Viking also predicted the war between God and their enemies, and the future regeneration of the world. Women in the Viking community have many rights and privileges. According to medieval sources, the Norse's wife usually dominates the family in general and the husband must take them into account so that too many chest hair can not be seen in front of them. If a woman chooses to divorce her wife, she also has the right to pay marriage fee.

Norse is almost the same as the Greek Greek myth and Roman myth. This is an acknowledged fact as Romans are known to have stolen Greek myths. However, it is worth noting that the myth of Viking (Norway) has many similarities with the Greek myth. These myths are by no means identical to Greek myths (like Roman myths), but there is a very clear thing in common between the two. In addition to pure coincidence, there are two reasons for this. - The most annoying thing about the reproduction of life history in the Viking era is the question people ask. "Why is your sword so light?" Of course, "Where is your corner?" But why do people still have these images of the past era?
