Plankent was one of the most spectacular politicians in his era and he was also one of the wealthiest people. In the 1904 election, he received support from the office and with the help of political journalist William Rioden, he published a politically improvising lecture on politics held in the New York County Court often. Planker believes that his idea is eternal and valuable political wisdom, but in fact they are illuminating the rapid annihilation of rude and urban politics during the 19th century era. Tamanee adopted a respected new style embodied by a young legislator named Alfred E. Smith in 1905. Planker never victory in the elections again and died in 1924.
