The View of Society on Interracial Marriage

Thirty years ago, Thurgood Marshall was insulted only a few months after the appointment of the Supreme Court, but today this insult seems not to be frightening at all. And I can hardly understand it. He and his wife found their dream house on the outskirts of Virginia in Washington, DC, but could not live legally in that state: he was a black man, she was an Asian. Fortunately for Marshall, in January 1967 the Supreme Court rejected interracial marriage law in Virginia and the other 18 states.

Ethnic construction in Western society, and to some extent, led to a unique view of intimate relationships between races on a global scale. Ethnic relations and marriage between the United States and Western Europe have become increasingly popular and socially acceptable since the civil rights era, but these associations continue to be affected by the acceptance of the majority of the population. More historically, the American family of Stephanie Kuunz treated the couple 's difficulties before lover versus Virginia when alien marriage proclamation was declared unconstitutional. The purpose of these prohibitions is to enforce a one-click rule and re-enforce ID and permissions. Internationally, far right is continuing to promote the concept of racial purity by opposing interracial couples and family normalization.

For most of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, marriages among different ethnic groups were prohibited in many parts of the United States (ethnic marriage). However, in 1967, the US Supreme Court reversed the prohibition of interracial marriage in Lubing vs. Virginia, a revolutionary civil rights lawsuit, and judged that the mixed law in Virginia infringed the basic rights of marriage . Historically, child marriage is very common, but now many countries are prohibiting child marriage.

In the previous generation, the attitude towards interracial marriage changed dramatically. In the United States only 43 years ago, all 50 foreign marriages were fully legalized. Today, in many countries, ethnic marriage is a matter of course, most people do not even consider it. But as we all know, this is not necessarily the case. This list includes those who do not allow social prejudice to make a decision of life and opens the way for future interracial couples.
