I am honored to have the opportunity to stand in front of you today. In the United States, the word "Nam" already embodies a lot of things for people. This slightly inconspicuous vocabulary is very important. It can give people a variety of emotions, including but not limited to sadness, disgust, anger, jealousy, regret, confusion (Newman 700). It seems to me that many people, especially those who view this war as one of the worst moments in America's history, will be forgotten rather. Through the President, the prewar movement recognized the war in Vietnam as a legitimate and extremely necessary effort and approved more direct military intervention in Asia.
For many people, the Vietnam War symbolizes American controversy, myths and problems. There are many incidents that make Americans wonder what is the reason why we are deploying troops in Vietnam. So far, many other Americans have never questioned the behavior of the US government and the army. The problem with the Vietnam War has had a tremendous impact on American people, especially students. Participation in the United States began to be very discreet. On March 8, 1965, Lipsman's Doyle had two Sea camps. Their countries have undergone war, but they have not yet fought war. Their job is not to search for trouble or start a war strategy, but to protect Da Nang's plaza. But very quickly for American soldiers, it is not so easy to stop enemies, it is to dispatch more troops. This will continue to occur even when there are 46,000 US forces in Vietnam in May (Doyle, Lipsman)
Thirty-eight years have passed, the Vietnam War remains a controversial topic. Some Americans believe that Indochina has no strategic value in the United States but others believe that civilian leaders have weakened the efforts of war. My paper will help you analyze various aspects of US participation in Vietnam and comprehensive assessment of each viewpoint. Almost all sources have reached an agreement in that the main objective of US intervention is to prevent the spread of communism. Nonetheless, some people think there is a reason to worry about the "iron curtain" that developed countries fell in Asia in 1954 due to the "Korean ceasefire agreement" and "Geneva convention", but others People do not see it.
