The VA Health Care System

The VA (Veterans Office) healthcare system is one of the largest and most advanced healthcare networks in the United States, a provider of veterans, retirees and their families and manages all health care . VA healthcare is actually part of the Veterans Administration. There are VA welfare authorities related to compensation money and pensions. Then another part of the VA is the National Cemetery Management which is responsible for the cemetery and provides burial and memorial benefits.

According to Donald Trump, veterans' health management is "horrible, terrible, and unfair". But how realistic is that? This is very unrealistic from many studies surpassing the private system in terms of quality, safety and efficacy of treatment in the US Veterans Administration (VA) healthcare system. VA is the largest health care system in the U.S. It is the only public fund system from the top to the bottom, not only its own insurance plan, but also its own doctors and hospitals. Despite being older, poorer and more sick than the general population, VA is the most cost-effective medical system in its country and has the highest patient satisfaction level in that country. Its continuous success is a strong condemnation of neoliberal axioms that private companies and capitalist markets can provide everything society needs, better than social programs funded with taxes It is efficient.

In the US, there are already two single payment system examples. Veterans Administration (VA) medical system is a socialized single payment program. Taxpayers provide funds for institutions, hospitals are owned by the government, and providers are government officials.
