Promoted by Nathaniel Hawthorne, a romantic literature like Gothic literature relies on problematic and inexplicable stories, blurring the boundary between reality and fantasy. Po's embrace against Gothity is like he's "Seven of the Gables" (1851), with him being a violent and disturbing scene, he is a conservative and traditional decision of a romantic novel Kept away.
As an example of a growing novel woman Gothic Romance, Jane Air and Rebecca offer similar heroines, heroes and various plots. As a narrator of the plot and as a central focus Jane Eyre provides the ideal function of the Gothic Romantic heroine.
