A constructive learning theorist Lev Semenovich Vygotsky grew up in a small village in Russia called Orscha. He grew up with a highly educated family and his father was a banker. In his early days, Vygotsky received counseling from a paid teacher at home. Wigotsky's experience at the first public school was not until he became a senior in high school. Vygotsky was an excellent student who always likes to write in her free time. When Vygotsky was 18 years old, he wrote and published his first article titled "Hamlet".

Lev Vygotsky (1896-1934) explains that it is a Russian psychologist who founded social development / social culture theory. Vygotsky believes that the psychological, linguistic and social development of children will be supported and strengthened through social interaction. The main point of Vygotsky is that the children are deeply rooted in various social and cultural contexts and their cognitive development is advanced through social interaction with more skilled people. Vygotsky's cognitive development theory focuses on more complex cognitive activities of children influenced and controlled by several principles. Believing that children actively build knowledge, Vygotsky's social and cultural theory is also one of the people who built the foundation of constitutionism.

Vigotsky's cognitive development social culture theory has a great influence on education and cognitive testing. Vygotsky strongly supports nonstandard evaluation procedures for evaluating the content and quantity of children's learning and developing ways to enhance children's learning. The interpretation of Vygotsky's and other sociologists' research has brought different perspectives and new teaching methods. Today social and cultural theory and related methods are widely recognized and accepted in psychology and education and are particularly appreciated in the field of applied linguistics as their languages ​​and ideas are interrelated. Social and cultural theories are also increasingly becoming increasingly influential in the field of educational design. In this chapter, we first outline some basic principles of socio-cultural learning theory. Then we recommend learning, teaching and design implications for education. Next, I will examine how social and cultural learning theory influences the instruction design.
