The Use of Sound in Coppola’s The Conversation

In this article, I would like to explore how to use sound design in dialogue directly to control our perception and emotional response, and how it changes the meaning of the image. Also, I want to know how the original soundtrack attracts attention of audiences using narrative and inaudible sounds.

"Modern Revelation" is a legendary war movie supervised by Francis Ford Coppola. The theme of the movie is destruction, violence, and terrorism. In this movie, Coppola will thoroughly examine the hero's thoughts, actions and emotions to portray the darkness and fear of war. His goal is to make the audience a part of terrorism. He wants the audience to make a big impact on the movie, and he wishes to completely use sound and editing in the last sequence of the movie. Using the sound environment's sound effect, I will explain how Coppola can use various sounds and editors to create suspense, strength, anxiety one after another and influence the mood of the audience.
