The Use of Dramatic, Situational, and Verbal Irony in Shakespeare's Othello

In Othello the Shakespeare uses many literary methods to help the reader understand the theme of the story. One of the many literary installations used in the play is extensive sarcasm. Throughout the book, readers will see dramatic, contextual and verbal irony. Shakespeare does not use satire in an unobtrusive way, it is very easy and can be found on almost every page of the book. Ironic use creates suspense and enhances interest in what is going to happen.

Satire has three types: irony of words, irony of the situation, and dramatic satire. The irony of the word refers to a person who speaks in literature, but in reality it means another thing. Situational satire means that the outcome of the situation violates what the reader expects. The dramatic sarcasm is that the reader knows what is not in the character of literature. Perhaps when Elisabeth lied that John's adultery is to keep his reputation, the situation in "Klasselburg" The most prominent example of sarcasm occurred in the late stage of the third act. Outstanding Puritans Elizabeth and Salem Community John was involved in this unfortunate lie and adultery situation.

Ironic is a contrast between what is expected to happen and what actually happens. Ironically, there are three types: dramatic sarcasm, situationful cynicism, and language sarcasm. The situation is closest to the definition of irony. Dramatic is when the reader knows more about the events in the story than the characters. The sentence of the speech means that something is different from so-called (satire). I think Edgar Allan Poe played the most outstanding role among the other three writers (W. W. Jacobs, Judith Gorog, Ronald Dahl). For example, when Poe wrote, the narrator can hear things in heaven and hell. This is soon to the reader that the talker is crazy, but he tells the stranger. When Judith Gorrog wrote in "Three Wishes", Alice wants to die. This is a sarcastic example. But Poe is actually even more advanced, not ironic. This is because in the example above, the narrator is also saying to us that it is ironic and unreliable.
