The United States Correctional System

Felony is most likely to be imprisoned within a certain number of years. According to criminal acts, charges for felony charges can be imposed. For example, a person accused of murder may be refused parole. A crime by a misdemeanor (DUI), a thief, and a vandalism act. It is most likely that criminal petty offenses have been paroleed after the sentence. Occasionally criminals may never see a prison cell. Under alleged misdemeanor, offenders may be declared probation for a certain number of years.

However, there are important similarities and differences between the two frequently confused functions of the American parenting system. It is important to understand the functional differences between probation and parole as the concept of convicted criminals living in the community may be controversial. Depending on the severity and circumstances of the crime, offenders may be under active or non aggressive supervision during the probation period. Violators under active supervision must report regularly to probation officials by mail or telephone. Inactive protective observers are excluded from daily reporting requirements

The correctional system in Canada and the United States has many differences and similarities in terms of the type of correction system and the type of crime. The important issues facing the correctional system in the US and Canada are very similar. For example, overcrowding, riots, racial differences are an important issue faced by today's countries. The correctional goals of both countries are different. The purpose of the American Correctional Organization is to restore criminals in the prison by providing training and development programs. However, this goal also depends on other factors such as overcrowding, cost, and economic crisis. According to Griffiths and Jones - Verdum (1994), correctional institutions are focused on reform and reintegration. As a result, the Canadian orthodontic system has focused on institutional service programs to help criminals be released from prisons.

There are many important problems in the US correctional system, and we need to tackle issues and problems. I thought it was difficult to concentrate on only three problems. The first problem discussed in this paper is the increase in the prison population. Since the provincial government needs to prepare beds for other prisoners, prisons are crowded and only half of the murderers are released. The second problem I would like to discuss is prisoners and drugs, prisoners of drug addiction and prisoners of drug abuse treatment. It also touches about drug trafficking and drug trafficking in prison.
