The Twelve Disciples: Characters Revealed

The next disciple is Peter's brother Andrew. Like Peter, Andrew's job is fishing. He is just an ordinary fisherman, starting fishing until it is too dark or too late from early morning. Matthew 4: 18 confirms that two brothers (Simon Peter and Andrew) were fishing together when Jesus told them to join them. What I want to know is Andrew 's personal response to the strange Jesus' invitation. The Bible says that he will obey Jesus, but more specifically in Matthew 4: 20, he will obey him immediately or "directly."

Answer: The term "disciples" refers to learners or followers. The word "apostle" means "a sent person." When Jesus was on the ground, his twelve disciples were called disciples. Twelve disciples learn from him according to Jesus Christ and train him. After resurrection and ascension, Jesus dispatched disciples to be their witnesses (Matthew 28: 18-20; Acts 1: 8). Then they were called the twelve apostles. But even though Jesus is still on earth, the words "disciple" and "apostle" are used interchangeably to some extent.

Jesus chose 12 disciples ("12 Apostles"). This is obviously the end message of the world. The name on Luke's list is different from Mark and Matthew's name, but all three ideas point to 12. In other words, Christians shows that they do not know who they are. The twelve disciples can represent the 12 primitive tribes of Israel, and the tribe will recover if God's rule is established. According to the report, the disciples will become rulers of the tribe of the kingdom to come (Matthew 19: 28, Luke 22: 30). According to Bert Herman, Jesus promised historical control of the twelve because Jude included Jewish Jews in twelve people. In Herman 's opinion, Christians did not promise to govern the disciples who betray him, drawing a line from Jesus. In Mark, the disciples had little other role besides the negative role. Sometimes other people completely answered Jesus, but his disciples were confused and doubtful. They are Jesus and foil of other character.
