In the first six weeks of this semester, many new ideas and various themes were revealed. Well-known subjects covered include race, ethnicity, religion. I think these are the most interesting and have the greatest synergy with the proposed topic. Race is the first important idea in tribal debate. This is a particularly lucky topic for me. Because I just finished the anthropology course.
Throughout the history of humanity, the subject of identity has sent poets to blank pages, and philosophers sent declarations to markets and job seekers. Since these ambiguous waters of abstract thinking are outrageous, it may be appropriate to demonstrate complexity, and the Greek historian Plutarch uses the story of the ship. Amy Adkins shined Plutarch 's Theseus ship, and when Robot Rhodes opened his eyes for the first time, she was on the island of the wilderness that was separated by himself. She does not know how to get there, or what her purpose is - but she knows what she needs to survive. After suffering a violent storm and escaping the attack of a vicious bear, she realized that the only hope of survival was adapting to herself and learning from an unpopular animal population on the island. When Roz slowly became friends with animals, the island began to feel like a house - until a certain day the mysterious past of the robot brought back troubling her and came back. For my brothers and sisters and me, identity is a bit difficult to overcome. We are American citizens and we are multinational - half Ecuadorans, a quarter of Palestinians, and a quarter of whites. Our three grandparents are immigrants, the fourth one is American. At home, we speak Spanish with my mother and we speak English with my father. In addition, we live in Auckland, California. It is one of America's most diverse and culturally expressive cities. No doubt, I am accustomed to always keeping up with cultural exchange - I like how fun and colorful my life is. For this reason I am very pleased to see my brothers and sisters approaching their whereabouts and culture with awe in this trip. I would like to convey their experiences with this photo story.
