Realism was originally a literary movement, correspondence and deviation to the idealism of Romantic era. Realism appeared mainly in the literature, the novel, in the second half of the 19th century. Realism is characterized by an attention to detail and an attempt to reproduce the reality. Therefore, the plot is no longer the center of focus of the author, but rather creates an interesting and complex role first. Realism also emphasizes the material and material details of life, not the natural world characterized by a romantic era. Many realistic novelists deviate from the soft aspect of romanticism such as strong kindness and idealism. Because they believe that these features distort the harsh reality of life. Realism highlights an accurate description of settings, dresses, and roles that seems to be inappropriate for early writers.
