Tomato tomato is a member of the Solanaceae family which is an economically important plant such as petunia, tobacco, pepper, green pepper, eggplant and potato, and a family including Mandela and eggplant. In taxonomy, tomato is closely related to Solanum. These two are quite different from some small features of anthers (Heiser 1969). Where tomatoes are likely to be cultivated first is not clear, but the two main possibilities are Peru and Mexico. The wild form may originate from any region but the Mexican indigenous people first planted them.

Domesticated tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is the descendant of wild plants grown in the southern Andes of northern Peru. This wild ancestor (Solanum pimpinellifolium) is often called "currant tomato" or "pimp". Wild and rare species should not be confused with escape garden tomatoes. Wild Gooseberry Tomatoes are small, usually less than 1 cm - similar in size to peashed green peas. This is much smaller than the cherry tomato we know well. However, gooseberry tomato is a pleasant orange red and is very delicious.

Today, the major tomato producing countries in the world are China, America, India, Turkey. China is the world's leading country and produces more tomatoes than the countries that combined the three countries. Many of these tomatoes can be eaten fresh, but the amount of canned tomato sauce and canned tomato is much more. Harvesting the original wild zucchini from Native Americans to the world of modern agriculture, mechanically harvesting a wide range of large domestic tomatoes was a great leap. This breakthrough did not occur on a single borderline, but it occurred in a series of baby walks for centuries, initially in the Americas, and then in the world.

I want to know the origin of tomato As you know, tomato is a fruit found in various foods (not vegetables). Continental cuisine has ketchup pasta, American fast food hamburgers have tomato slices between lettuce and meat. Italian chef puts pizza in tomatoes and Russians eat tomato soup. The Chinese have tomato beef, the African Nigerians eat stewed chicken and tomatoes, and for us Indians, we almost always use tomatoes!
