The Three Heroic Brothers

Three brothers of the "three heroes" endangered their lives to provide a safe shelter for the Jews. Prior to the Second World War, Bielskis lived in a village called Stunkevich, the only Jewish. Their parents and other relatives were killed during the Holocaust. After this tragic incident, three brothers left and visited the forest of Belarus. They decided to help save the Jews, and by the end of the war they rescued 1,200 Jews. The life of Bielskis before the war was full of difficulties.

Bielski brothers continue quiet family life abroad and never accept their heroic past. With their extraordinary behavior, over 1000 Jews were able to survive. More importantly, they provide a relatively peaceful shelter to communities affected by the community.
