The Theme of the Veil in W.E.B. Du Bois' Souls of Black Folk

"Now we can see through the glass, darkness" - Isaiah 25: 7 Western Europe Dubois's black folk soul, a collection of autobiographies and historical essays contains many themes. The realization of the theme of the soul, realization of that consciousness, dual consciousness, black life and culture duality and disagreement theme, but one of the most impressive themes is "veil". Veil provides a link between 14 seemingly irrelevant articles that make up the black soul. At least once in most of the 14 articles, this is meant as follows. "Negro is the seventh son, born in Veil, is an eye for this American world, harvest has nothing to do with him.

W. E. B. Dubois's classic "black soul" in 1903 explores the philosophical and spiritual aspects of the "soul" emotion that closely associates black souls and blacks with black people. Dubois made two complementary trips. One is to examine the roots of African American religious thought and the other is to evaluate African American culture community. A black soul incorporates sacred and secular things and provides readers with a literary model of "deep love" to express and harmonize the ideals of war of the "soul" of African Americans.
