Narrator is not the only story character without a name. The parents of the narrator also did not reveal their name. These unnamed people are people who adapt to the black community in an expected and responsible manner. Other names such as Sonny, Creole and Isabel are named because they are biased. Each of these roles is not consistent with the normality accepted by the narrator. In particular, Creole gained his name by providing parentage to Sunny. He robbed the place where Sunny's unknown father was full. In addition, Sunny's individualism is a direct result of his dissatisfaction with traditional living. When I was young, Sony can not make friends with my father. He dislikes homes and schools. His creative interest separated him from his brother, and he felt "his continuing appeal to his jazz-oriented lifestyle and Greenwich Village" (Albert 179). At the beginning of the story, Sony rejected his family and his family and established a new life as a musician and a drug dealer in a new place where the talker is abroad. Sonny's love of jazz is another subject emphasizing the conflict between individualism and traditionalism. Jazz music is "music known for its personality, because it depends on improvisational ability of each musician" (Albert 180). In contrast, the more traditional music format emphasizes accurate imitation.
When discussing music played by Sonny, it is usually done abstractly, music as a bridge, where Sonny allows his brother and Sonun to find his identity, or simply blues. Of course, it is perfectly legal to discuss music in these two ways. After all, the music played a role as a bridge between Sonny and his brothers; we played the blues on the same page, "These are Sonny's Blues this time" I remembered. When I felt Sonny finally felt at the top of the story, his "fingers are full of air of life", he said he was "I am blue." This is the first song of the second episode of Sonny's initial performance in the first episode. Baldwin simply said "Creole was scattered, applause was scattered, Creole started to become something else, it was almost ironic, it was I was blue", without the moment of warning .

James Baldwin's Sonny's Blues theme After reading James Baldwin's short story "Sony's Blues", I found Baldwin trying to convey two themes, pain and cynicism. The first topic that he proposed and tried to make the reader understand was a painful theme. The second topic that the author explains is ironic. James Baldwin wrote that Sonny's Blues, brought up by James Baldwin's two African-American brothers, Sonny's blues, is a story about the two brothers, their past and their differences. When Sonny was in prison, they stayed apart for several years, but as they went out they had the opportunity to fix their past. "Sonny's Blues" is a well-written story about the lessons of daily life. Feelings are depressed and make people reminiscent. Brothers reminisce about the past and remember
